Authority to make management decisions on all strategic and current areas of activity is endowed with the rector of the academy. At the moment, the acting rector is Associate Professor Zhanna Barakova.

Significant management body of the Academy is the Academic Council, at whose meetings shall be approved by the local regulatory and administrative documentation, key decisions on strategic issues of activities of the Academy.

The Academic Council includes the rector, who is the chairman of the Academic Council, vice-rectors, elected members from among teachers, staff and students by the decision of the Academic Council.

The main task of the Educational Department is to provide all educational departments of the Academy with the developed documentation (curricula, work schedules of the educational process, examination schedules).

One of the main tasks of the Educational Department is monitoring the compliance of education with the requirements of state educational standards, preparing materials for licensing and a comprehensive assessment of the academy when passing accreditation.

In accordance with the tasks, the educational department performs the following functions:

  • organization and planning of the educational process,
  • coordination of the activities of educational units for the organization of the educational process,
  • organization of work on scheduling classes and intermediate certification,
  • organizational, methodological and information support for the preparation and implementation of licensing and accreditation procedures for individual educational programs,
  • organizational work on planning and conducting practices,
  • organization of the work of the state examination commission,
  • providing the educational process with educational and methodological documentation,
  • control over the use of the auditorium fund, its optimization.

The Science Department carries out its activities in order to develop and improve the efficiency of scientific research, to introduce the results obtained into the educational process, unites and controls all scientific research carried out at the academy.

Research work in the academy is carried out by the teaching staff, researchers, applicants and students of the academy.

The most important tasks of the Science Department are:

  • coordination of research and scientific and methodological activities of the teaching staff;
  • strengthening the links of scientific research with the educational process through the wide involvement of teachers and students in research work and the active use of research results in the educational process;
  • all possible assistance in the training of scientific personnel and advanced training of the teaching staff.

The International Cooperation Department deals with a wide range of issues and tasks to ensure partnership and interaction of the Academy with foreign and international organizations, aimed at strengthening cooperation, attracting foreign students.

The main tasks of the department:

  • implementation of international educational and research programs and projects;
  • implementation of double degree programs, academic exchanges and internships;
  • assistance to divisions of the Academy in obtaining foreign grants and concluding contracts;
  • reception of foreign delegations, organization and participation in international conferences, exhibitions, forums, research projects;
  • organization of internships and internships abroad for students, graduate students and academy teachers;
  • holding international scientific conferences and seminars;
  • assistance in the development of a network form of education for students of the ACI in partner universities, the development of academic mobility of students and teachers;
  • provision of information, legal, coordination and other support to foreign citizens arriving at the academy for the purpose of obtaining education or advanced training, as well as students, graduate students and teachers arriving at the academy under various programs and agreements;

  • maintaining personal files of pedagogical and scientific workers.
  • participation in the preparation of the certification of employees of the academy, in the work of certification commissions, analysis of results, implementation of decisions of certification commissions, proposals for improving the certification.
  • calculating the length of service for employees to determine the amount of benefits for temporary disability, pregnancy and childbirth.
